Best

Bournes web site is excellent. It is very easy to navigate and there are so many different pictures of the vehicles. When I went to Bournes there was no pressure from the salesman....

Worst

I bought a Lexus IS250 from Bourne's a couple of months ago. The car has been good so far. It isn't perfect but wasn't priced like it was perfect either. I think the price was ...

I would never buy here!! 5/6/2012

I was told one thing on the phone, then got to the dealership and was horrified by the condition of the cars they had available. Scratched, dents, bad carfax reports, the situation couldn't have been worse. Drove an hour to get there and ending up buying a car right down the street instead. This is why car dealers have a bad name!! more

DO NOT GO HERE!!! 8/7/2011

I had cash in hand to buy a new car last week... I was looking at a 2009 Jeep Liberty. I called ahead to let them know that I would be there at 3 PM. When my husband and I got there we waited almost 30 min for them to get the car and put gas in it. The car was filthy, had pieces hanging off the car and the check engine light was on. The assistant manager said it was just because he filled gas with the engine on. We test drove the car around the Stonehill College parking lot and when we went to switch drivers the car wouldn't start! I was stuck for 45 min in a parking lot over 105 degrees with my 9 month old baby. I went back to the dealership and asked to speak to the manager... After 10 min he came up to us and said he could get us another car to test drive. DON'T SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE! We ended up at Mastria on rt 44 and bought a 2010 Liberty for 500 less than they're 'no hassle price' more

Excellent customer service, Great Cars 5/15/2010

Bournes web site is excellent. It is very easy to navigate and there are so many different pictures of the vehicles. When I went to Bournes there was no pressure from the salesman. I did not have to wait long and he showed me different cars because I was not sure what car I was going to buy.I ended up buying a Maxima. This was about a year ago. The price was excellent, way below what other dealerships offered. The car is also excellent and I will definitely buy from them again and recommend friends to go there. Pros: Reasonable Prices, No Hidden Fees Cons: Distance from Warwick more

Decent car but lots of BS! 5/6/2010

I bought a Lexus IS250 from Bourne's a couple of months ago. The car has been good so far. It isn't perfect but wasn't priced like it was perfect either. I think the price was pretty good. However I was initially told I would be financed at 3.9%. When I went to pick it up, it was 4.9%. They charged me Mass sales tax (I live in Maine) and told me I could apply to Mass to get back the difference. This was I lie. I just got a denial back from Mass today. The salesman I initially dealt with was rather rude and moody, especially over the phone. Maybe I should have gone with my instincts and told him what to do with the sale. So I ended up with a decent car at a decent price, but came away frustrated at the misrepresentations, lies, and surprise charges when I went to sign the paperwork and pick up the car. Pros: good price, decent vehicle Cons: lies, misrepresentations, surprise charges, rude salesman more

Why go anywhere else?! 11/15/2008

After an exhaustive search at all the usual haunts, we decided to drive the extra miles to visit Bourne. From the first phone call to the last visit, we were extremely pleased! We had been beaten down and manipulated by the other dealers, and so expected more of the same. Not so. Not by a long shot. Mike Kelley couldn't have been more easy-going and accommodating. And the deal we got was far under the deals we negotiated elsewhere. The service we received exceeded anything I would have ever expected from a used-car dealer, from any dealer for that matter. My car is beautiful and was serviced to make it feel nothing short of brand new to me. Thank you, Bourne! We'll be back, and so will our friends! Pros: relaxed sale, great price! Cons: none! more

No pressure-lowest prices-great customer service 9/21/2008

I bought a 2005 Jeep there a few months ago and felt I got a better deal than any of the other places I shopped. Furthermore I had a couple of mechanical problems and they fixed them promptly with no complaints. I did try to haggle the price and the administration fee but they weren't willing to budge. It's a waste of time and effort to haggle with them. I spent four exhausting hours at another dealership haggling and got their price down to Bourne's price....so what's the point. Go to Bourne's and save yourself the headache of desprate sales-people and annoyiong deal closing conversations. All of my future purchases will be at Bourne's. Pros: Good deals, great customer service after the purchase Cons: May need to wait for a salesperson becuase they are extremely busy. more

Excellent customer service 4/23/2008

I purchased a 2005 Jeep Cherokee from Bourne?s in January. Prior to that, I spent almost a year trying to decide what I wanted for my next car. I went into Bourne?s with a few different options in mind & Mike in sales was very knowledgeable in helping me to make an informed decision. Once I decided I wanted a Jeep he also helped me decide if I wanted the new or old body style. They did not have the color I wanted in stock so Mike had the guy responsible for purchasing look for my color choices. I was pleasantly surprised how quickly they were able to find what I wanted. They gave me a very fair value for my trade in and I financed through them. I was very pleased with the ease of the entire process. Working with Mike was a pleasure. He was professional, informed, and made an actual effort to make sure I got what I wanted. Since buying the Jeep, when I have asked for a service appointment Mike in service has asked me when I want to bring in my car instead of just assigning me a day. In both sales and services Bourne?s is the friendliest, service oriented dealer I have dealt with. more

BAD EXPERIENCE 4/15/2008

IN JANUARY I FINANCED A CAR THROUGH BOURNES, I DEVELOPED A ENGINE PROBLEM WITH LESS THAN 200 MILES ON THE CAR. I TOOK IT BACK TO THEM THEY SAID THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE CAR, I THEN HAD IT EVALUATED AND RETURNED WITH THE EVALUATION, THEY RELUCTANTLY CHANGED ONE FUEL INJECTOR AND ONE SPARK PLUG WIRE. THE CAR CONTINUED TO HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM. AGAIN I RETURNED THE CAR TO THEM, AND AGAIN THEY SAID NOTHING WAS WRONG. EACH TRIP TO THERE DEALERSHIP I LEFT WITH THE SAME RESULTS, THAT THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE CAR. THIS CAR HAD DEVELOPED THE PROBLEM WITH LESS THAN 200 MILES OF DRIVING. I'M CONSIDERING CONTACTING BETTER BUSINESS OR THE STATE ATTORNEY GENERALS OFFICE. THIS CAR COSTS OVER 15,000. YET THEY STILL DON'T WANT TO TAKE THE TIME TO FIX THE PROBLEM. more

Great car purchase experience! 3/11/2008

I just purchased a used acura from bourne's and it couldn't have been a better more convenient experience. I dealt with several courteous sales people who assisted my husband and I with the process, we told them what we were looking for and they located the car for us and we were able to pick it up the next day! There were no games on prices, the price they advertised was the price we paid which was great. The car was completely detailed and in perfect shape when I picked it up and they took care of the registration insurance and financing while I waited. I had noticed a minor issue with the starter when I test drove the car and they made an appointment for me the next day and fixed the starter while I waited. This by far was the most convenient and pleasant car purchase experience, I would recommend Bourne's to anyone looking to buy a used car. more

Great Customer Experience 2/28/2008

Bought 2005 Grand Cherokee after searching dealers for over a month and finding they had the lowest prices for the model and options I was looking for. They gave me a fair value on my trade and even put new brakes, gave me an oil change and tune up on the Jeep without having to ask. I also did financing through them which went extremely smooth. Car was immaculate and ready the next day for pickup. Family members have purchased cars there as well and had the same great experience. Highly Recommended more

Takes all the stress out of buying a quality used automobile 6/18/2007

My wife and I were looking to purchase a late model BMW. With research on the internet, we were able to determine that we wanted a 2003 or 2004 325i. We shopped at several dealerships, and in each case, the salesperson made us feel uncomfortable. They would avoid direct questions as to the condition of the vehicle, insist on squeezing into the rear seat during our test drive and were not forthcoming with the vehicle history.\r \r Thank goodness we found Bourne's Auto Sales. Everyone we met at this establishment was friendly and helpful without any pressure at all. We were allowed to drive several vehicles that we were interested in and there was no salesperson tagging along.\r \r As a result of the price being plainly listed on the window sticker, one of the biggest hassles of buying is eliminated.... you simply don't need to negotiate. I checked the price we paid on our 325i and it was considerably below the values listed on NADA or Kelly Blue Book.\r \r Once we finalized our purchase, Gerrard, our very helpful salesperson informed us that it would be 2 or 3 days before we could actually pick up the vehicle because it had to go through their 27 point checklist. No one is more skeptical than I am when it comes to used car dealerships. I anticipated that the car would receive a quick wash and vacuum and nothing else; I was so wrong.\r \r When we arrived to pick up the vehicle, Gerrard informed us that they found a couple of things during the inspection and corrected them. I was amazed to find out that all 4 tires had been replaced, the rear brakes had been replaced, the battery had been replaced and the car was given a full oil and filter change as well as a comprehensive detailing that would cost you $150 at a detail shop.\r \r I am totally impressed with Bourne's and look forward to doing business with them in the future and recommending them to my friends and associates. Pros: No pressure, fair price, they simplify and make enjoyable the buying experience Cons: You've got to wait 2 or 3 days to get your car but the wait is certainly worth it. more
