Great margaritas! 3/17/2008

The Blue Goose in Plano was rocking on a Saturday evening. Me and my dinner date waited for about 15 minutes which isn't bad at all. The minute we sat down a stack of fresh-off-the grill flour tortillas were set on our table, shortly followed by some warm chips and salsa. Both were amazing! The bar was packed and it was nice and loud. The ""queso con todo"" won me over along with a frozen margarita. The fajitas came out quickly and were juicy and flavorful. I loved the crowded bar scene, it's the way a good cantina oughta be. What a shame it's wasted on all these uptight Plano conservatives! Pros: Fast service, great food and margaritas Cons: Too many big groups and families crowding up the waiting area more

Very Overrated 12/3/2007

When my husband and I moved to Plano, a few of my friends raved about Blue Goose...how I had to go there, etc... Well, it was near our home, so try it we did. The portions are huge, yes, but the food is really not as good as On The Border, which I hate to say. It's very subpar. \r Also, whenever we order to go, our order gets messed up, and its inconvienent to have to fight to bar crowd just to get our dinner! (They serve the to-go orders in the inside bar. And its a small bar.)\r And to second another review, the drunken partier types really do run the place. We don't drink, so it's very annoying for us. No, we're not going back again. Pros: good location, open pretty late Cons: terrible food, have to go through smokers to get inside, rowdy crowd more

NO BUENO...bunch of drunk bikers 6/2/2007

I tried this place about 2 years ago and it was okay then. I went there 2 weeks ago and I will never go back, the quality went down hill and it seems all they care for is the drunk crowd emphasis on DRUNK. I got staired down while eating my uneventfull meal. It was very uncomfortable. Not going back, no way jose.. more

Its ok! 10/26/2006

This is a crowded place in a good way. I only liked their goose eggs appetizer. This place is okay if you don't have any better place to go, or if you are living down the street. Pros: Crowd, Sports and classic cars and motorcycles! Cons: Cheap quality food, nothing special more
