Motorspeed West 8/18/2005

Wouldn't it be great to have a really honest, reliable mechanic that you could trust? What if instead of one guy, there were two of them?? Well, with Motorspeed West, you've found it. Two brothers that are dedicated to BMWs and Mercedes. They know the cars inside and out. They fix the cars correctly, not trying to maximize their average repair cost. One example: I owned a 1990 BMW 535i, and the radio was sounding terrible. I had asked around and most people suggested replacing the radio for $400 - 600. When I told Ken about the problem he said that usually its dust in the volume know causing electrical contact issues. I'm not actually sure if he charged me to fix it; he sprayed some WD40 in the knobs and the problem was gone. As another example, I was dropping my car off for service when I saw a guy come in with 2 dozen donuts. I had known him from a previous company. I asked if he was dropping his car off, and he said no, just dropping donuts off. That's what their customers are inspired to do. Wow. more
