They have Lay-Away! 5/26/2006

My fiance is an avid snowboarder. So during the holiday season, and his birthday I always know what to get him. With the prices at Big 5 I am able to get him some of his wants. The best part of it all is I can put them on Lay-Away, so I can bring them home closer to the occasion. This is a great advantage for those that like to break up their Christmas shopping as well. Big 5 has my business! more

This was a good sports store before, but I do not know what happened. They usewd to sell guns, and since my family does a lot of shoting at ranges I would go there becuase I do not know many guhn places. They no longer carry guns, or as great of quality of clothes and shoes as they used to, and seemed quite over priced. Not sure what happened, but it is still ok, just not great. more

Shoes 6/30/2005

The Big 5 ad is always full of wonderful shoe sale prices. I was able to find a good comfortable pair of walking shoes for much less than I had expected to pay. They don't always have the styles I prefer, but I'm always able to find something at a good price. They were very helpful in finding my size. more
