ER 9/16/2015

Constant Hippa violations. Particular nurses at their nurse station loudly announce patients condition, mocking & laughing at patient. Anyone can hear this unprofessional banter. These nurses give a bad rep to the legitimate nursing staff who are dedicated & hardworking. At this ER, you are rolling the dice when it comes to your healthcare. Sad. more

Nice New rooms- HORRIBLE CARE 10/8/2013

great new tower, understaffed, nurses are great but overworked, mistakes are waiting to happen. After being admitted, took 36 hrs to see a doctor. Social workers are uneducated and hospital requires a dr call to see a social worker?? Guess it's because I'm NOT ON GOVT ASSISTANCE. GO ELSEWHERE if you value your life. They have about 1 nurse for 12 patients, nurses buttons for emergencies takes 10-15min to get answered. more

Make Sure You Know the Charges! 8/20/2012

Went in for a very simple, 20 minute ultrasound. The company doing the ultrasound (Radiology Associates) billed me $57.00. The Hospital billed me $617.00. I had to pay it. Amazing. BIG mistake. Will never use this facility again. Highway robbery. more

Scary 5/2/2012

Strange place. It can be incredible or horrible. I think it just depends on the doctor & nurses you get. I have an addiction to alcohol & have been to Baylor several times. One dr admitted me for detox & a different doctor told me they couldn't help me. It's shameful & embarrassing to be an alcoholic & I went there for help. I was put in a room at the end of the hall with vey little care. Several hours would go by without anyone checking on me. I needed to do a short detox, but instead, I was sent home. more

Over worked Satff 4/9/2012

I would not put yourself in the care of Baylor Hospital. They over work their staff and do not have enough people working to cover the essential care that you should get. They are more worried about making money and work their staff to the bone. Terrible hospital and I would suggest Harris Methodist in Fort Worth rather. more

Major Billing Error Wrecked My Credit 3/23/2012

I stayed one night for a heart-related issue. Somehow they managed to use an address I lived at about 20 years prior to send the bill to. Of course, it didn't get paid, so after 3 months they reported it to collections. My wife had our child there about 2 weeks prior, and my wife stayed one night there about 1 week after that for her own heart-related issue. So we had a child birth one weekend, my wife's heart issue the next, and mine the next. The reason I mention this is that they had all of our information correct for the first 2 stays. And they both got paid because we received bills for them. So when the 3rd one didn't get paid, what did they do? Nothing. They just let it go to collections and now I have to fight it for who knows how long. They could have just called one of the cell phones they had from our first 2 stays. more

Professionalism at It's Finest 8/19/2005

Due to the birth of our first child and some unfortunate events that landed myself and a few of my family members into the hospital, I've had many opportunties to review the service and level of care at Baylor Regional Medical Center at Grapevine. To say it's top notch would be a serious understatement. The timeliness of care received is excellent, the staff is friendly, and the facilities at the hospital are also great. Not to mention that if you're an expecting parent, you'll want to check out their child-birthing classes, which contain all the information you'll want to know for both mom and dad. more

Better than any other hospital 8/19/2005

Weather you have an emergency or are having an out patient procedure or even having a baby, this hospital and its staff are outstanding. The emergency room staff remains calm in any situation and gets the task at hand done with great ease. They always are a comfort to the patient and their family. The outpatient services are especially great too. They make you comfortable while you are there for the short stay and help you do to whatever it is the doctor requires prior to you leaving. Labor and Delivery and Mother Baby are my favorite! They do everything they can to help you have a baby the way you wish, be it with drugs or without and with delivery plans or without. Once the baby is born they make you comfortable and help you in every way they can to teach you about your child. I wish I could have brought my nurses home with me! The hospital overall is excellent. Even the food in the Cafe is good! Thats a HUGE plus for any hospital! more

Kinda Scary 7/19/2005

Baylor Regional Medical Center in Grapevine, Texas, is a hospital. My family physician use to be located inside the hospital. My family had been seeing him for several years. He was an excellent doctor. He was actually a very popular choice among the growing community, as it was hard to get an appointment and walk-ins were impossible. When my mother tried to make our check up appointments, the number she kept calling was disconnected. Later she found out from a friend, who had also been seeing that doctor, that his license was revoked and he was no longer allowed to practive family medicine. It makes me wonder why. I have never had any bad experience with the hospital itself, I actually saw and was treated by a dermatoligist for hives with no problem. But I would not choice this as a home for my family physicina for fear of this same occurance. more
