i love books. I'm a write. I try to read as much as i can and new things but lately (the last 4 times) i haven't found anything. walked in and came out empty handed. it's might just be me (a guy) but they aren't caring any thing other than pop or chicklit books. it makes me sad. PROS: chain store CONS: don't carry what i want more

quiet place to go read 4/26/2005

There are several of these bookstores in the area but this is my favorite. It is not as crowded as the others. It's pretty much a library with the latest books. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable. They let you read books without having to buy them. They also have a coffee shop in the store. I'm not a fan of coffe, so I've never been there. The store is always clean and peaceful. They even have clean bathrooms for the customers in the store. Sure, you can find most books at a cheaper price on the internet, but it's still not overpriced like some other bookstores. PROS: a lot to choose from CONS: none more

i like this bookstore a lot., they seem to have a book for everyone. i go there for travel books they have a very good section. i always end up sitting down and strat reading for hours without anyone disturbing me. the staff is always very helpful so don't esitate to disturb them to ask where the book you are looking for is hiding. this is a big store! more

good bookstore! 3/2/2005

I enjoy spending time in Barnes and Noble. Especially this one because the location is excellent! I found that they are very organized with plenty of computers areound the store to help you best find the book or magazine that you are specifically looking for. If I ever have trouble finding a book I just aks one of the employees and they will do the work for you. This store deserves an A! more

Editorial review from Insider Pages 1/6/2005

I really enjoying spending time in this Barnes and Noble. The store is well organized into several large areas, compartmentalizing relevant sections. The children's area, for example, is in an appropriate area, and the cafe is separated from the merchanidise via an elevated platform and a rail. There are 2 floors of books, with both an elevator and escalator (and stairs) for access. Upstairs is very comfortable, with both stand-alone chairs and desks for book enjoyment- I never feel pressured to leave early. The selection is fairly good, especially the cooking and philosophy sections. The staff is sometimes helpful, sometimes indifferent. The cafe offers Starbucks beverages and a comfortable place to study- not too many loud teenagers here as opposed to Borders. Overall, I enjoy this site and frequent it whenever I am in the area. more
