My favorite place for massages! 10/2/2010

I go to this shop all the time. The staff here are very friendly and professional. This is not some underground dirty massage shop. The interior is very clean and has a nice Thai theme to it. The environment is very pleasant and the masseuses are well trained to deliver just the kind of massage you want for such great prices. Customers get their own comfortable private room which is really relaxing. The facials are great here too! more

??????????????????? 9/30/2010

@ willguy..................! What do you know about this massage place? Are you complaining about the masseuse or you're jealous about the owner? I am one of the customer there. And I am absolutely close with the owner. The owner isn't a masseuse who massages a client. And how do you exactly know if Nana was yelling at her child in her own language? Or do you speak the same language as she does? oh by the way you might be speaking spanish cause your comment for Nana has to deal with nada? thats kinda awkward. and one more thing, can you please stop being so nosey about the employee's room. mind your own buisness. because if i walked in to the bathroom and stick my head in the room, i wouldn't be able to see anything. WHY did you stick your head in the room for? did you need something in there or what? oh another thing you are lucky to see the owner there cause she's never around! one last thing'correct your grammer before you leave negative feedback to anyone else. more

A sweatshop parlor!!! 5/2/2010

I have come to this massage shop many times as I live within walking distance and let me tell you never again.First off I am greeted at the door by the owner of this subhuman establishment her name is Pam,decked out in gold jewelry like a greedy 3rd world madam.Funny thing is she doesnt understand english so well and rarely gave me the masseuse I asked for as well the type of massage I need with my bad back.Last time I attended I was massaged by "Nana" who had nada in the way of masseuse skills, she started hammering away at my bad back with no regard to ask me the typical-hard,soft or med. strength which didnt get relayed from the owner.I told her soft please, which she continued halfheartedly while she yelled at a child running around which was the icing on the cake by that time. After physically getting beat down I walked to the back of the shop to use the restroom passing a small room with no chairs and girls sitting in a small crowded area which reminds one of the exploitation videos seen in news reports, have fun at Siam Thai Massage ,a real experience indeed Pros: none Cons: too many to count more

Best Massage in Los Angeles 11/22/2008

A great place for a massage in Los Angeles. The atmosphere is very friendly and warm, different from other places. A great service with the friendliest people. I left feeling completely relaxed, it was absolutely the best massage I have ever had. To top of the experience, the price was very reasonable. I would definitely recommend it. Pros: Great Atmosphere and friendliest staff. Cons: None more

Nothing Special Thai Massage 11/6/2008

Nothing is special about Siam Thai Massage. They are right on the street at Ventura Blvd. The rooms in the front were lound from street and traffic noise so ask for a back room. The girl who did my massage was not very professional as she did not even introduce herself even after I spoke with the owner who assured me she would discuss the type of massage I was going to have in detail. Anyway so much for a Thai-English Barrier. She pulled and stretched me from limb to limb but it never was gratifying or even relaxing as I could hear noise from the rooms next to mine. I probably will not go back soon, sorry to have been fooled again! Pros: no wait for appointment, pick any girl for massage Cons: street noise, paperthin walls more

Loud, Inexperienced massuese 5/16/2008

After reading the 7 reviews on here.. i thought i would stop in on my way home from work because i was having some back pain. They took me right away which was great.. the staff seem very friendly. The rooms didn't seem too sanitary and they offered me an oversized pair of mens boxer shorts to put on for my massage.. EW! So I still layed down for massage.. upon entering the room the masseuse made a comment on how pretty I was. She was very nice, and kept apologizing for all the noise. It was SO LOUD. All i could hear were men groaning and doors slamming. I was so distrubed by the sounds it was near impossible for me to relax. The massage was terrible..she applied no pressure to my back, she just kind of slapped oil on my back and rubbed it.. in a wierd sexual way. And she wouldn't stop giggling the whole time!! I stopped the massage after about 30 minutes.. it was just plain awkward! I'm not sure what kind of 'thai massage' place this is.. but I would not recommend. I guess you get what you pay for. I would highly recommend trying thai sabai in thai town, same prices, much more efficient work. My back still hurts today.. maybe even more!! Pros: Friends Staff, Low prices Cons: LOUD, inexperienced staff more

Wonderful Inexpensive Massage 3/15/2008

I had a great experience here, and I'm a pretty fussy client. The most important aspect is that my therapist had skills. She was strong and really worked on the one outrageous knot in my shoulder. She made sure that she wasn't applying too much pressure. While I'm accustomed to Swedish, I loved the Thai stuff, and she applies some accupressure and Swedish as well. The rest of the staff was polite and welcoming. While the atmosphere isn't especially spiffy, I felt comfortable. The lighting was good, the music helped cover the sounds of the hallway and front area. If you're looking for a sanctuary atmosphere, this isn't it. But it's pleasant and has that slightly exotic Thai flair. A steal for $35 bucks, and I was happy to leave a generous tip. Have a great massage! Pros: great massage, nice staff, price Cons: can hear noise from outside more

Most affordable--BEST massage in town 2/26/2008

I've experimented with many a massage places in LA....from expensive, to economical. I found a place that is affordable without sacrificing the experience. I've been going to Lisa at Siam for a year now, and she is a pro at working out any kinks that may be occuring. She's receptive to feedback and follows my directions. (ie, spend an hour on just my back please). For 1 1/2 hours I pay $60 and usually tip $25. Not only is she professional, she is a genuinely sweet person as well. No fancy frills like Burke Williams...but quality massages that will make you feel refreshed. more

Best Massage for the best price! 11/27/2007

Best massage in Los Angeles for the best price. People are nice, rooms are clean, I have been back many times always a great massage. If you are looking for a great massage in Los Angeles Look no more last Satursday I had 1 1/2 hours for $55.00 The massage was so good I was sleeping like a baby when they asked me to turn over. I tiped the theripist $25.00 So for $80.00 total it was as good as the best massage I have ever been given. You cant go wrong going there. Pros: Great massage by nice people Cons: NONE more

Amazing for what you pay! 9/16/2007

This is a great Thai massage. I've had many professional massages and this one is the real thin. It was thorough and professional. Amazing, especially for the price. Highly recommended. I will be going back many times! Pros: professional and thorough Cons: open ceilings make it noisy at times more

Excellent Massage, WOW! 7/22/2007

I walked in and there were a lot of smiling warm faces there from the available therapists. Even the men. Nice relaxing Thai music in the background. I picked a very pleasant and very beautiful Thai therapist. She gave me one of the best massage I ever experienced. She had very soft hands, but she could apply added strengh to my deep aching muscles as well. I felt she was very personable and attenative to where I needed the massage most. The price was very affordable, $35, but she was just incredible! Needless to say, I tipped her well. I will definately return, and very soon. Pros: Thumps up Cons: none I noticed more

You get what you pay for 6/3/2007

The massage itself was great, and I thought going into it that everything else was too but I was wrong. The open ceilings of the massage rooms allow all outside noise in so I heard the receptionist, the phone, other people chaatting, doors opening and closing, and even the toilet flush! It was so hard to relax with all of the background noise. The rooms also share two massage areas divided by curtains so I heard the lady getting massaged next to me the whole time I was getting my massage complain about the strength of her massage. The room was also very cold and they used cold oils on my skin so I had goose bumps through out my massage. I won't be going back. The massage was only $35 and thats all it was worth (with tip it was $50, but the therapist did her job well). Pros: The massage (other than cold oils) Cons: a lot of background noise, rooms are cold, share room with another person more

My neck feels better 3/8/2007

I happened to stumble in on this place I was next door at a business and my neck was killing me so figured I would go in. I have been to quite a few thai massage places in LA, this place was nice - individual rooms with doors that lock. They had a lot of therapists so it would appear there would be no trouble just walking in for a massage and of course the price was right. I would go back for sure if I am in the area. Pros: walked right in, therapist more
