Amy's Lil Scholars opened its doors last year but it is a family owned business that was established by Amy Lopez - the director. Amy is always on site interacting the children and ensuring their safety. Amy's goal is to ensure every child's safety and happiness. Her and the staff have a strong background in curriculum development and accreditation.
Our program is multi-lingual and believes that children should be offered a place that is safe, loving, trusting and the responsibility to develop self-skills, language, social and emotional development.
Our program offers a secure and safe environment for children to keep consistency in their development, learning activities, free play, indoor/outdoor activities, develop receptive and expressive language both verbal and nonverbal. We give our children the opportunity to develop positive feelings of self-esteem, self-help skills, cognitive development and respect for self and others.. Amy's Lil Scholars has a routine of daily activities for the children. The establishment of a schedule is key for an organized environment. Our schedule of activities changes throughout the year depending on the weather. However we try our best to keep it the same daily so that the children adapt easily.
The curriculum offers each child an individualized learning environment where the child can excel. We nurture an environment where children ages six weeks through twelve years are cared for,nurtured,and educated by early childhood specialists. We strive to provide a wonderful learning environment for the children we serve. We are dedicated to the well-being of our children and it is our goal to educate the whole child. We believe the future is dependent on the investment we place in young children today. This is why we are inspiring children to achieve a lifetime of success!
Nutrition is an important factor of a child's growth development. All of our meals are free and very carefully prepared. We provide all of our meals and snacks. Homemade everyday fresh,healthy,organic meals. We are cautious and accommodate children with special diets.
