Dealt with this company and Mallow's assistant at first. One would think that a professional would understand that some people are unaware of all the steps necessary to handle an accident. Instead of just explaining and getting the process going this office was EXTREMELY disrespectful, demeaning, and unprofessional. I reported the problem interaction with another department and Mallow himself contacted me. I expected a short and sweet apology, but I got the opposite. He told me that it was my fault his secretary was rude!
This does not make sense. Mallow himself was rude and demeaning as well. I suppose this is how they handle all of their business. I would love to see the reaction if they would come into my field of work and see how it feels to be completely lost. At lease my associates and myself would not be demeaning. We would be understanding and gently guide them through the process.
Stay far away from this agent. American Family Insurance is a great company as a whole, just avoid this agent at all costs!
Will be contacting Better Business Bureau on behalf of their business practices and also will be contacting American Family Insurance headquarters to document this interaction and my displeasure.
