AmeriMont Academy

I am very happy with the service at Amerimont Academy. I especially like the teachers and the director, who are very accomodating. There is just a great overall feel. My son has really blossomed since he started 5 months ago. He used to be a shy little boy but now he is everywhere. I am very happy with the school community. more

Overall, my child seemed pretty happy there. Overall, I like the education they gave to my child at Amerimont Academy. I really didn't have very many complaints at all. We came from a very poor school system. It was just such a poor system, so coming to this and watching my child grow quickly was great. Props to the school for educating him to be able to do things he never did before. There were miles of leaps in one year overall, and I think the educators were very on top of my child's needs. They were able to help him work through his challenges. Whenever he would act up, they were good at informing me to help me stay on top of things as well. They seemed pretty good. more

Great experience. From what I see, most of the teachers are great. The kids seem to have fun being there. There is sufficient homework that they do, so everything is great for me. more

My daughter's been going to Amerimont Academy for years. They've been great and very flexible. They're very accommodating to your schedule. The teachers are wonderful and really care for the kids. The school's always clean. I know my daughter has a really good time. We chose Amerimont Academy because their facilities and staff were far above the other facilities I saw. The prices were reasonable for the quality that you get. When I went there, I had the feeling that this is the place that my daughter should go to! more

I am the mother of an Amerimont Academy's student. I'm happy to have this opportunity. First of all, I love Amerimont. Teachers are nice, especially the Director Ms. Arilda is wonderful. I think the size of this school is ideal. If the school is very big, I can't see the director everyday. At Amerimont, I can see the Director everyday at the entrance hall, and I can feel free to talk to her at any time. Ms. Arilda knows all children which is amazing!! I came to the U.S.A from Japan four years ago, so it's still challenging for me to understand English. But Ms. Arilda talks slowly to me so that I can understand, that helps me a lot!! When my daughter started school, she didn't understand English at all. I was so worried, but she cried only first three days. She got used to the school soon, and now she loves the school. She improves her English a lot, and now she learned all alphabets. At Amerimont, children can have academic class, improve social skill, and can have a lot of fun events such as Halloween parties, Christmas parties, Easter parties. I love all of this school. I have had two daughters enrolled with Amerimont Academy, the oldest already graduated and is in third grade now. The little one is graduating next week from AMA. I'm very pleased with the low instructor turnover, and it's a really, really good education. My daughter goes to the two day a week program, and she's already reading at a first grade level. Both of my daughters knew their continents after just a few months there. The caliber of the education is really great. I'm really pleased with the teachers, staff, instruction, and values they instill. more

I only had my kid in Amerimont Academy for 2 weeks, and his whole personality changed. I yanked him out of there because he was so unhappy. They wouldn't refund his monthly tuition even though he was only there for maybe 10 days. The actual classes he was in were twice a week so in reality he was only on campus like 3 or 4 times. There were not enough teachers there for his age group because there wasn't enough attention paid to him. No one really paid attention as he moped all by himself, and it was not a good environment for my son. RESPONSE FROM AmeriMont Academy: We are sorry this parent did not have a great experience with us, however, a correction needs to be made. Our withdrawal policy requires a notice but we did credit their account which would be used when the child is ready to return; so although they paid for a month, they were only billed up to the childs last day. This parent was also informed in advance in a document that we give to all our new enrollees that For children that have a tougher time transitioning, it may take about 20 school days before they are understand and feel comfortable with the routine. This child attended only 6 days and the two day a week program can be the hardest for children because without the consistency of the program, it takes longer for a child to adjust. Our teachers are very skilled and as you can read from our other reviews, they are very caring and attentive. We understand how hard it is on a parent when a child is sad when they are away from them but the children always end up happy when given enough time. We hope this parent reconsiders our school, uses their credit they were given, and gives us another opportunity to show them how wonderful our school is. more

My son goes to Amerimont Academy. I appreciated that when we changed him over, the change went very smoothly and we had no trouble with them or with our son. I had tried a different school before Amerimont and wasn't thrilled with them. I really like that compared to the other school he went to, this one has been really good. He comes back home clean, which is very important. And he is speaking a lot now. He has a lot of things to talk about. It's not a day care, where they just watch them, they actually teach the children things. It's like he's in a real school, learning lots of new things everyday. more

The staff at Amerimont Academy is very professional and fantastic. My son runs to the door every morning and is very excited to go to school. He loves his teacher's and the other staff. My son knows his planets, continents, vowels, and sounds. I have family members that are teacher's and they are very impressed with the level of knowledge my son has learned. more

Amerimont Academy has been pretty good. Ms. Arinza is great and takes charge of everything. I very much enjoy it. There are too many students in each class, though. For my money paid, for my 3 year old, I think he could be getting a lot smaller of a class size. They have a huge number of students, and often nobody on the staff has time to change my son. The personal part of preschool just gets lost sometimes. I don't really know how other places are, but the people here are fantastic. The student-teacher ratio is just not favorable. more

I think that Amerimont Academy does a good job at addressing my childs needs. They are good at providing one on one time with your child. It is a home like atmosphere and it makes you feel comfortable. The children love the school and their teachers. They are happy there. more

I'm quite satisfied, to be honest. Based on the tuition rate and their service, they're in the O.K. range. My kids learned have learned a bunch of neat things. So far so good. I have no complaints. more

At Amerimont Academy, everybody tries to take the extra time for the children. All of the teachers know all of the children's names, even the ones not in their classes. And they all take the extra step to welcome children by name as they come into class. more

I'm actually the grandparent of the child that attended Amerimont Academy. I have had nothing but wonderful experiences with Amerimont Academy. My grandson attended for two full years, from three to five years old. When he first started there, he hadn't had any experience away from home. Amerimont Academy worked with him, as he had a hard two weeks when he started. They potty trained him after two weeks, which we had been struggling with. They were wonderful! He started out with the little kids, and when he was used to the environment, he moved up to the next level. The teachers in the levels were wonderful and he loved them! He's now at kindergarten. Amerimont Academy is a wonderful environment and experience for kids! It's a lot more than just babysitting. He learned a lot when he was there! more

I have had two children that attended Amerimont Academy. Both of them went through two years of preschool and one year of kindergarten there. I am actually a professor of education and have done a lot of research on various programs, and truly believe that their director is outstanding. I think the director Mrs. Ardila makes a huge difference. She is back and so wonderful, and we are so happy to have her back. They really make you feel that you are part of a family. It is hard for parents to leave their children for the first time, but it is easier with this school. I have heard some public school teachers are even planning on sending their kids to Amerimont. Student to teacher ratios are great and communication with parents is exceptional. The program is a very balanced. I strongly believe in the public school system, but I am glad I sent my kids to Amerimont Academy. The kids love the school too. Amy Gimino more
