HORRIBLE!!! 2/4/2010

Good: Nothing. Bad: Obviously by the other review, nothing has changed since I went a few years ago. I was there twice and had horrible experiences both times. The last time, there was a verbal fight going on in the theater and NO ONE would do anything about it. When it escalated to people getting up and confronting eachother, we walked out and told someone at the front desk who proceeded to do NOTHING. we asked for our money back and they refused because the movie was already half over. I have and WILL NEVER return.. Other: Cherry Hill better get it's act together and start MANAGING their theater. Piss off enough of the good people and all you will get there is problems. They need to do some serious image repair. No one I know wants to go to that theater and will wait for it to come out on video or rent it before going to see it there. Do you self a favor and do the same.... more

WORST THEATRE EVER! 12/26/2009

Went to see Alvin & the Chimpmunks the Squeakwall. First, lets say the parking lot is a disaster area. There is only one exit to leave the place yet two entrances so there are a zillion cars pouring into the lot, yet not enough leeway to let cars leave. Next, every single spot was full to the point that people were parking along the curbs capping the parking lot causing even more congestion due to restricting traffic to one lane. After spending about 20 minutes to find parking, we walked through the pouring rain to the lobby to find it absolutely packed with people. There were people arguing over who in the mob was next to use the credit card ticket purchase machine. It was a nightmare. When our turn came, we touched the movie and showtime only to find that it had sold out. Not even a notice on the sign above stating it was not available. Still wanting to see the movie, we decided to purchase tickets for the 8:45pm show time. We tried to sit down at what was then 7:55pm so we could get good seats; however the theatre was in use and had not let out from the previous show. It was suggested that we come back at 8:15pm. Arriving back at the entrance at 8:30pm, a full 15 minutes before the previews begin, we found the theatre to be 100% packed with only random seats remaining. Needless to say we were not happy. Upon approaching the customer service desk, we found a woman and her family complaining about a movie they had just viewed where a child was given permission by the parent to pull down his pants and urinate during the movie. Everyone sitting in front of these people were then sitting in puddles of urine. Her shoes were soaked. This child was old enough to know better than to just whip out his manhood and let 'er rip right in the middle of a theatre. The theatre was jam packed and they were not staffed in the least bit to handle the crowd. They needed to stop selling tickets and let those who were there be served. Instead, they continued taking peoples money. I'll never return, ever. more

Disgusted!!!! 2/17/2009

Not sure who is in charge over there, but who ever allows people to bring there young children to see a movie at 1030 on a sdr nite should be locked up.... Let alone one that is rated R, I hope something is done in the future, where the movie theatre (management)has a some type of say over ignorant and unfit parents who do such a thing!!!! rw more

Never Again 1/5/2009

Haven't been in awhile, so I was surprised at the increase in price, but that was just the beginning. Got our tix the day before so we wouldn't have to wait on Friday nite. Went to see Gran Torino - Friday 7:40 pm show. Got there plenty early hoping for a good seat and found it was playing in the smallest theater where there are no good seats so we had to sit up close to the screen. Also the theater had never been cleaned from the previous show so there was popcorn and soda everywhere that we had to move before sitting down. Also had to sit through 20+ minutes of horrible previews for TV shows! This was all unacceptable for a highly acclaimed movie geared toward adults - It will be a long time before I return. more

One of Our Favorite Movie Theaters! 10/10/2005

Lowes offers very comfortable seating and temperature control. The movies offered are always first class. The concession stand is second to none! Lowes is a great place to combine a movie with a bite for dinner. The employees all seem generally happy with their work which makes for a pleasant movie going experience. Our family has frequented Lowes many times over the past ten years. Maintenance is wonderful. The theater is always clean and is not showing its true age. more

nice but expensive 10/5/2005

i think that the itheater is anice one but i find it to be a bit more expensive then some others in the area i wish that they would bring their prices down so that they can compete a bit more in the area more

My favorite movie theatre 8/25/2005

Yes, it is expensive (no student discount that I can see), but you can get chicken fingers, pretzel bites, pizza and ice cream and fancy coffee there. I love this movie theatre and will willingly pay tolls for the bridge to come over (versus going to a certain Philly theatre on Del Ave). In addition to having a fabulous snack bar, they also have the ability to prepurchase tix online, so - for example - the opening night of star wars, we were able to walk right in, print out our tix, get great dinners and the only wait was the line to get into the actual theatre where the movie was playing. more

Nice cosy theater with an extended food menu 8/19/2005

Loews Cherry Hill Theatre is located across the Cherry Hill Mall on Route 38. It a cineplex that has recently been build. Everything in the theatre still looks new and it has a nice atmosphere for a family going to watch a movie. People here are not overly rude by talking on their cellphones during the movie. Another good thing about this theatre is that the Concession stand carries warm food like Chicken Fingers, Hot Dogs, Nachos and some stuff you won't regularly find in a concession stand. Overall movie experience is good, especially with free parking and stadium seating. It is a good place to go after a trip to Cherry Hill Mall before heading home. more

Great place to see a movie 8/15/2005

If you do not mind goig to a multi-plex, this is the one to go to. Large screens, with stadium seating and cup holders make this theater a pleasure. Just try not to go during peak viewing hours. Avoid eight o'clock shows on Friday and Saturday nights. It can be a mob scene. Good popcorn with apply your own butter is anice touch. Also try to use the credit card mchines in the front for quicker service. Beware the novice who does not know how to use the touch screen. more
