I had to contact this company with questions after we had signed up for service. I was given two different repost work with. Despite numerous calls with messages and emails, I was not able to contact the company. once the actual movers contacted them for me. To put it mildly, our move was worst than any moving experience I have ever even heard of and trust me I have heard some horror stories! To sum our experience up in a limited number of words would be to say that we experienced: negligence, dishonesty, damaged and destroyed items/furniture, overpaid by thousands of dollars, rude and unethical conduct AND NO COMPENSATION FOR DAMAGED AND DESTROYED ITEMS!!!! We have filed a complaint with the BBB and with an attorney!! We will be heading to court unless it is settled soon!! more

I had a very good experience with All State Van Lines. I hired All State because they had the best price and are working hard to restore many of the bad reviews left for them. My wife was upset that I even hired them in the 1st place. She wanted me to fire them! What I found is # 2 tries harder. These reviews were all resolved with their customers. I convinced my wife that I was going ahead with them for one reason - the storage locker or studio apartment stuff I was moving cross country wasn't even worth the quotes I got from everyone else. I could replace cheaper. Some were 2X, 3X, 4X and even 5 X more expensive. Long story short: > I got all my stuff moved > they even packed the stuff I forgot was in the locker and boxed it up better than I would have since it was odd sized. > got it to me within 2 weeks of contract > communicated to me where they were and when delivery would occur, even calling day of and an hour out > Nothing was missing or broken > all furniture was covered and taped with moving quilts and well protected > got it out of the storage locker and hard carted it out since the semi was too big for Public Storage. > My estimate was wrong by weight but it came in very close considering I under estimated what I had in the locker and it STILL beat everyone else's price. Everyone I dealt with from Micheal (Contracting), to Paul (Customer Relations), to Mena (Coordinating), Jamal (Packer) to Cesar (Driver) were outstanding. Cesar was tremendous with his team checking off inventory and setting up. Listen, this is a tough business, competition is hard, people come and go, yet I have never seen how an industry comes together to make sure they never "drive empty". These companies work very efficiently to keep your costs down and share resources and keep empty trucks off our over burdened roads and over congested highways. On the whole the move went very well. The movers were courteous at both ends and worked hard. Our belongings were delivered within 5-day time-frame and were in good condition. Customer service representatives were in touch with us prior to pick up and prior to delivery. The only glitch was I gave the pick-up driver my daughter's phone number, so she would know when to meet him at the delivery site, and I gave her his number -- the problem was a different driver, with a different phone number that she did not recognize, phoned her and she did not get the notice of delivery until a few hours before. Since delivery occurred on a Sunday, it was not a problem and my daughter was able to accept the delivery. I would definitely use this company if I ever move again. more

these guys get your carrier lined up for you and do a great job arranging your pick up and deliver. My stuff was delivered quickly. great job ! more

They are liars on every level, we were charged $2440 to move 72 boxes and various pieces of furniture..that was the quote for 4000 pounds. The movers showed up and tried to get us to hire them outside of All State Van lines Relocation company ( which they are a brokerage not a moving company!!!) They claim that our stuff weighed 5000 pounds and charged us an additional $2300 for the extra 1000 pounds. When they arrived they delivered our items in a 15 foot uhaul truck.. BEWARE THIS COMPANY IS FRAUDULANT and WILL break your stuff as they did ours and they will over charge you NO MATTER WHAT!!! We are suing and fighting this fake company!! There is so much more to this that there are not enough characters to truly tell you all the horrors they put us through but make no mistake DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! If you believe those self written reviews you WILL GET RIPPED OFF by these people!!! more

I recently used All State Van lines for a move of two plus rooms of furniture from Asheville NC to Yardley PA. I am very happy with the customer service that I received. Everything was communicated to me in a timely fashion. They were in regular contact with me and responded to emails and phone calls quickly. When I discovered last minute that they could not get a large truck into the pick up location, even though they asked me multiple times if they could and I said yes, they were able to swap trucks and bring in a smaller truck, with no change to the estimate. Speaking of estimates, we adjusted the furniture list a few times but in the end, their estimate was over by only a few pounds and I actually paid less than I expected at delivery. I saw many reviews with people claiming they underestimated and then they were charged extra at delivery. This was NOT the case with my job, 11260671-06. Would I use them again? YES. Would I recommend them to a friend? YES. more

All State Van Lines was precise and efficient! They made my Dad's move a smooth transition. The packing/unpacking they did of personal items, the truck, and storage areas were so professional. They kept in contact from the beginning of the process to the end. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs to move. more

the movers were very diligent in packing and crating the belongings to be relocated. I had boxed the majority of my items before they arrive but the 10-15 items the moved had to due was done professionally and care to protect the belongings. more

Great experience Moving is never a happy time. But Allstate Van lines made our move more pleasant. We were concerned because we have a number of valuable and irreplaceable antiques. Allstate families was very and protective of our treasures. They were also very courteous and had excellent customer service. I would recommend this company for your next move.
