I've been going here for almost 5 years and they have 7 iced teas, never in 12 years have they had only 1. They have a great multi-page menu of salads, sandwiches, tea sandwiches, quiches, combinations, and of course lots of dessert choices and full-tea. They make everything from scratch, carry the top-of-the-line loose teas from around the world, and recently, they upgraded menus, teas and gift shop merchandise under a new owner who's very knowledgable when it comes to teas. I'd recommend it to everyone!! more

Cute atmonsphere! 8/31/2005

Abbey Gardens Tea Parlour has a great atmosphere for a proper girls day out. They have a pretty limited menu, so don't go expecting to have your fill. They serve a proper tea with finger sandwiches and desserts. Great for a "girly" day or even a bridal shower. Make sure to make reservations if you are heading there on a weekend! more

Great place for tea! 8/17/2005

This is the perfect place to have tea with the girls. They have a wonderful variety of hot tea, but only one choice for iced tea, which I was a little surprised since we do live in Phoenix. The atmosphere is quaint, exactly what you would imagine at a tea party when you were 6 years old. They bring cucumber sandwiches, ham or turkey sandwiches, quiche squares, scones and a variety of desserts for the tea service. Reservations are required on the weekend and I am not sure about during the week. You can reserve the full lunch or just tea service, although I have always left with a full stomach with the tea service. The only issue is you must show up with the exact number of people that you reserved and try to be as close to on-time as possible. The owner is a little like the "soup Nazi" from Seinfeld's if you bring an extra person without calling ahead. Overall, my friends and I love this place because it is a tea party just like a childhood fantasy. more

Abbey Gardens Tea Parlour 7/27/2005

What a quaint little tea shoppe! Here you can take the ladies or your favorite squeeze and have a tea party. Take the little ladies in your life, too. They have gifts, desserts, tea, coffee, scones, and little tea sandwiches. The atmosphere is sweet and perfect for a brunch or afternoon tea. It is only open 11 AM to 3 PM and you usually need reservations to assure you can find a seat. more
