I wonder how others are signing up with this low class company. Must be due to the low cost upfront trick that is actually costing you a lot more in the long run. Not only the sales person is disrespectful, their installation and service are just horrible. Avoid at all cost, don't get fooled just because they might appear cheaper up front, if you sign up with them you know most of your money are just going to their advertisement and you will get almost zero service. more

After watching the news about all the different mom and pop alarm company's in town here the obvious choice for me was ADT. Alot of these alarm company's didn't even have a license to sell alarms. That was disturbing. Also alot of them are using out dated equipment. ADT has been doing this for over 130 years so I think they know what they are doing by now. If you look at the type of equipment compared to all the other alarm companys it's apple and oranges. ADT's service techs are 24hrs which really helps when I need someone on a Sunday, I would never get that from another alarm company. They also monitor over 200 airports, many goverment institutes including the Federal Marshals and has recently made a deal with ALL federal judges (most judges make good decisions that's what they get paid for). I don't work for ADT, I just do alot of research and not look at a few bad instances in which some are waaaay out there. I have been a customer for over 10 years and when it comes to protecting my family I only want the best and nothing more, they are #1 for a reason. more

All I wanted to do is to change my credit card number. It took about three months (if it has been fixed, I am not sure as of now). I spoke with 6 different people. Please don't make the same mistake I did. Don't use ADT under no circumstances. they are absolutely the worst. They are scammers and they have the worst customer service you will ever experience anywhere in the world! The wireless aspect of the system works flawlessly like it does in the commercial. Be aware that the Pulse system does not have an application for the RIM Blackberry but only for the iphone at this time (July 2010). You can control the system from any computer that has internet access and a supported browser that also allows you to set up alerts, automations and schedules.\r more
