"Rosie A' La Mode" 2/18/2010

Wow I needed to "pop" for my family reunion. Rosie accepted me as a "walk in" and did an amazing job. I thought I was ok with my basic style but thankfully she wasn't afraid to break down what would look better. I felt 10 years younger when I left and my family was amazed. Everyone in the shop is supportive of each other. I wouldn' t think of going any other place. Rosie is beautiful and talented! Pros: Amazing architecture and performance! more

A'la Mode 2/16/2010

I went into A' La Mode for a haircut and style. Maria Did an amazing job my cut was exactly what I asked for. Ive Been going to Maria for a while now and have never been disappointed. The salon has a great look, the staff is all very friendly and professional. I would definately recommend this salon to everyone. You will leave there satisfied, I guarantee! Pros: nice decor, great parking! more

I went into A' La Mode for a haircut and style. Maria Did an amazing job my cut was exactly what I asked for. Ive Been going to Maria for a while now and have never been disappointed. Went to A La Mode salon 1month ago after reading all these reviews. Alina is very nice and business oriented person, however has no talent as a hair stylist. She is probably trained well, however she doesn't have the God's given gift of being hair stylist. I can call her hair dresser at the most. To keep it short... she gave me a color that I had to recolor myself one week later, because I was getting comments like "why do you look so tired". Haircut was so poor ( especially the bang-it was HORRIBLE),that I end up paying $500 to get hair extensions. I honestly don't believe that all these city search comments are coming from the customers. Once again, the owner is a very smart businesswoman and knows how to make the business work. Will not go there ever again...for very expensive average job. Pros: Clean and cozy Cons: See comment more

I went to A' La Mode for the first time this weekend on a recommendation from my friend. Maria B was my stylist and she did such a great job. I hadn't cut my hair for over a year because of the fear of change. She trimmed my hair and recommended I cut my bangs to go for a fun and flattering look... I'm glad I listened to her... I love my new look! She made the time and effort to help me understand how to keep my hair looking healthy and gave me tips and tricks on what kind of products to use to give my hair volume and keep it healthy. I can tell that she really enjoys doing what she does and that gave me the confidence to try something new. I definitely walked out of there feeling great and will be returning there soon! Pros: Modern Salon, Great Prices, Plenty of parking Cons: Can't think of any more

One of the best facials that I have ever received!!! 2/4/2010

I have been getting facials for over 10 years now, and let me tell you that the facial that I have received at A La Mode Hair Studio was one of the best facials I've had! The esthetician, Ani, took her time to explain the benefit of each product that she used on my face. Everything that was used on my face was organic. I take care of my face very well and I buy the best products that are out there; however, I never ever had such amazing results as I did with the products at A La Mode Hair Studio. My face is glowing like it never did before. I am slowly getting rid of all the expensive products that I have at my house, and starting to purchase the skin care that A La Mode Hair Studio uses. Love, Love, Love A La Mode. Alina is wonderful, very personable and I always walk out of there feeling beautiful. My best friend even comes from Dallas to get her hair cut at this salon...that says something!! more
