Went to Maria a few weeks ago, asked for just a shaping nothing drastic - as she was cutting I started to see huge chunks of hair just dropping to the floor I told her that was too much and she swore I would still have my length, well I didn't when she was done massacring it. What was long hair that used to fall down my back now is a chunky mess that falls at my shoulders. I never expect perfection b/c I know everyones hair is different, but it doesn't take a genius to cut hair so taking off about 6 inches during a shaping job is pretty frightening. I do not know if a mistake was made and she was trying to cover it up - but almost a month later my hair still looks horrible and I do not expect it to look better for at least a year when it will grow out and I can have it shaped at a salon where they know what they are doing.
