Review content:
What can be better than ice cream on a hot summer day in Dever? Only one thing I can think of - the gelato and sorbet from Gelato d'Italia in Cherry Creek North. The gelato lacks the heavy creaminess of ice cream, and thus the butter fat. Instead, it focuses on intense flavors that tingle on the tongue. The fruit flavors, like rasperry, strawberry and fruits of the forest, taste like they were recently picked from the vine. The cappuccino chip reminds me of the aroma and flavor of a perfectly brewed espresso drink. Taste test before deciding and take advantage of the European 1/2 scoops - two flavors for the price of one small. Sit outside or walk around the neighborhood shops while the sun sets... It's the next best thing to a vacation in Italy.
