Lala's is different. Maybe it's just because in this day and age everything is a bumping techno dance club or a pretentious martini bar with overpayed yuppies seeing a being seen. Lala's is a bar, that's it, and it's great. Why are there Christmas lights everywhere? Who knows, I've heard some stories but I'm not one to pass on rumors. All you need to know is this place feels like home, the kind of place you could sit back with a friend or two (or even a date if she's not too up tight) and talk the night a way. Dark but not too dark, a jukebox that's not too loud and filled with great songs, and as of now it's not too crowded. I think the hipsters may be on to this place though so hurry up and enjoy it while you can!
