Businiess name:  Bombay Spice Grill & Wine

Review content:
I heard about Bomaby Spice Grill & Wine from a friend of mine. We both love to drink wine and are big on healthy food. I didn't know what to think at first as I had not tried Indian food only a few times and each time it was far from healthy and spicy hot. Also, I don't like to smell like curry when I leave the restaurant. Bombay was totally diffrent. It is cool and contemporary inside with awesome music. It has a wine bar, tables, and a community table. The restaurant and bathrooms are very clean and the service was friendly. The wine and food were the best part. All the items on the menu are healthy and made with just a little bit of extra virgin olive oil. They have many vegetarian options and cook meats on the grill, not a tandoor. I had the Lamb Chops as a starter. It was awesome. Three chops for under $10.00! All items are under $10.00. My date had the veggie Samosas. He gobbled them up. After that we both ordered a plate with a choice of two items. He had the beef kebab and chicken tikka with rice and I had the eggplant and Veggie Tofu Tikka with brown rice. The spice was mild and flavorful. Usually I have to drink 10 glasses of water just to eat at a typical Indian place for a meal. At Bombay everything was just right. We didn't have dessert but did order and share a bottle of wine. We had a bottle of Spellbound for only $20! They serve 40 wines all for $20. It's like happy hour all the time. They also serve all 40 wines by the glass. We were both impressed by the value of the selections they had on the wine menu. It isn't your typical Indian food but much better! I am going back soon for sure. They also had a to-go menu so picking up dinner is always an option too. It is worth trying out. This place has much more to offer than standard curry dishes. It has salads, wraps, rice bowls and plate options, much more targeted to the American palate. Pros: Tasty Healthy Food and Wine for great value Cons: Located in a strip mall at 16th and Glendale, hard to see from street
