Review content:
We visited the Phoenix area last week and decided to try out this new Indian restaurant. The atmosphere is fresh, light and colorful. The waitress was prompt and fun but not overly on top of us. The best part was the food. I just have to go back and have the chickpea ceviche again. The flavor was tangy and robust and absolutely unforgetable. I have been unable to find anything like it in Kansas City since our return. We also shared the lamb and it was unbelievably tender and full of flavor. At this juncture I would like to comment on the $20 wine list. It is quite a bargin to find these wines at this price anywhere. I was particularly pleased we could order by the glass as well. Our next course (we like to share) was the shrimp tikka skewers. The shrimp could have melted in my mouth, it was cooked perfectly and very flavorful. We capped off our meal with the freshly made carrot souffle. It was very light and just the perfect desert after this wonderful meal. I encourage you to try this one out. It is unlike any other Indian restaurant I have ever visited because of the wonderful and flavorful food combined with a price that is easy on the pocket book. Pros: excellent food, $20 wine list, great location
