Our family went for a trail ride here, and our 8 year old had so much fun he asked if he could go to camp there for a week. He had just that one riding experience going into the camp so he was a true beginner. The staff helped him choose an appropriate horse for his level to ride every day, and over the week his confidence grew. There are two organized rides every day for campers. The rest of the day the kids choose what they would like to do -- play with dogs, chickens, horses, bunnies, swim, or just run around the playground. This is a true living-on-the-farm experience, and my son came home every day tired and dirty and with a big smile on his face! It's pricey, but if you want a lot of exposure to a wide variety of animals this is definitely the camp for you.
