Review content:
I have been riding my bike in Portland since I have lived here. I have had to use most every bike shop in this city. Most of which I can best describe as pretentious. The Recyclery is anything but. The owner has to be one of the nicest guys in this city. All the bike techs have an extended knowledge of bicycle repair, and all are involved in building bikes from scratch. This is a unique way to run a shop, allowing for a great array of different styles and different price ranges of fine bicycles, all of which are recycled. If your looking for parts that are in good condition, here you will find in every nook and corner all the parts you need to fix your bike. If the space is available, and usually the employees are happy and willing to make it available and help you with the repair of your bike. All in all if you trust in the fact that old things still work, and better yet if they are taken care of, they actually work better than new things.....then you will find quite an eclectic collection of old bikes brought back to life at the Recyclery.....You might not find a "Pierce" bike here, but I guaranty you will find something you wont do without. Pros: great customer service, great location, great Portland feel Cons: ferocious watch dog
