I had the worst cutomer experience I have ever had in my life at this store. I went into this store last night to find an iphone 3g car charger. I was in a rush, and did not want to look around the whole store on my own to find it. I approached a sales associate and asked him where I might find one. He took me over to the register and handed me an ipod car charger. Nowhere on the package did it say that the item charges iphones. I asked the sales associate whether the product charged iphones, even thought it did not say so on the package. He affirmed that it did charge both iphones and ipods. The woman who rang me up was very helpful, she even took the product out of the package for me. However, I took it out to my car and plugged the charger in, and low and behold, the device was not compatible with the iphone. I immediately took the product back into the store and asked for a refund. The woman at the register did the return with no problem. The problem really started after I made the return. I addressed the sales associate and asked him why he told me the wrong thing when he clearly was not informed. The right thing to do would be to say he did not know, and refer me to someone else that would know. The sales associate's superior defended the sales associate, and would not even apologize for selling me the wrong thing. That superior then said to me on the way out, "I hope you get hit by a car". I don't know what kind of management allows their employees to treat their customers like this, but what said and done to me at this store was a disservice and completely un-called for. I can't imagine Electronics Expo will stay in business much longer if they continue to train their employees to give false information and chastise their customers on the way out. I ended up going to the Walmart down the street, and had no problem with the product I bought or how I was treated. Walmart's prices on some of the same products were better, too.
