Review content:
I had a very bad experience with Radiant's plumber Jason (see below) but Brad, the owner really worked with me to get it solved and gave me half my money back for all of my trouble. but it was still two months of drama, I wish hadn't happened. They moved the water heater to the opposite side of the house (where it should have been in the first place) And there will forever be a silicone rectangle on the other side of the house...because I have a historic home that they dont make the same shingles for anymore... : ( ***if you want a tankless you might want to check out 'Austin Texas Water Heaters'. They are actually the ones who figured out the correct spot for my tankless. And they seem to charge less. ORIGINAL POST: In a nutshell I was just charged $5800 to install a Rinaii tankless water heater and when I got it professionally inspected by a TX inspector ( at my own expense) I learned it had 2 code violations, one of them being very major and I have no idea how they are going to solve it... I'm upset with myself for not doing much research and being trusting, but Radiant seems to charge 2X the amount other companies charge...and that money doesnt go to better service/plumbing knowledge...it goes to their advertising campaigns. Jason really didnt seem to know much about the water heater. I am really kicking myself for not getting other estimates. DONT trust their friendly appearances, these master plumbers are just sales people with some plumbing skills. Your job will actually be done by someone else. Pros: easy to reach on phone/ customer service seems to care Cons: very expensive and you wont get a price breakdown
