Review content:
I went into the store very excited and left disappointed. The cupcakes are amazing, but getting service seemed to be trouble. We stood there for a while while a 3 of the employees stood there-one on the phone (we assumed she was busy due to the phone so didn't expect help from her), and the other two just standing there. The poor girl on the phone had to tell one of the girls standing there, "Hey you need to help them."
Unfortunately, she did help but with much obvious unhappiness. I've worked in the service industry in college so I always keep in mind they might be having a bad day leading to bad attitude at times. She took our order, was very short and seemed annoyed.
I was very interested in ordering a cake for my little girls first birthday also because I've seen such amazing cakes come from them. I was trying to ask a question in regards to their cakes and she just seemed to avoid eye contact as much as possible as soon as I said "excuse me" she got on the phone and the other young lady walked to the back so I figured it must be important. It wasn't they were ordering lunch and she wasn't going to help me at all to save her life.
I just gave up. But I can say that I'm very disappointed because I went in there with such excitement from seeing their work. Hopefully, it was a one time situation because it would be a shame for such a great place to not make it because of poor customer service.
Pros: The storefront is adorable and the cupcakes are great.
