NorthShore University HealthSystem consists of four hospitals; Evanston Hospital, whose traditions of providing high-quality healthcare dates back to 1891, Glenbrook Hospital, a teaching hospital built in 1977, Highland Park Hospital, a leader in healthcare delivery for northern Cook and Lake counties for more than 80 years, and as of January 2009, Skokie Hospital.
