I have been shopping here since 1996. I have two cats and a dog/ rescue, that I actually got from a girl who worked here years ago. I drop about $200 a month here for 13 years and I barely get a hello from them. I have seen the owners being rude to their own employees. The prices are good and they have a good selection but after today I will be taking my business elsewhere. The rudeness is no longer worth the convenience. My four year old daughter got her fingers stuck in the cart that was full of cat & dog food cans.,trying to get her finger out she tipped the wagon onto herself and all fell to the floor. One customer out of three on line waiting to be checked out came over to help. Mind you we were right next to the register. He returned to line when all cashiers continued to ring. Not one of them including one of the owners came to help or even ask if we were O.K. They all kept ringing as if nothing was going on. I finally got my crying daughters fingers free of the wagon and started to pick up all the cans and replace them to the wagon. My daughter was still crying rather loud, so it's not as if if they couldn't hear the commotion. I stopped picking up cans to look at her fingers and they were swelling rather quickly. I was starting to get worried so I asked the owner if he had ice. He said I don't know and kept ringing out customers. So there you have it. I'm done. And these are animal lovers? He couldn't find any sympathy for an injured 4 year old? So I picked up my daughter left the rest of the cans on the floor and took her to the doctor. I'll spend my 3 thousand dollars a year someplace more polite. I found a very nice place in College Point that carries all the same stuff, and the owner is a complete doll. Good Bye Pet Rude!"
