PHC&J and Antioch Coin And Jewelry conduct good business. The lady's comment before about the 2.9% of what she was offered based on the "Mall Appraisal" of her items is completely false. PHC&J pays fair market value for the precious metal that is within the item. Retailers appraise "their" jewelry and mark it up at least 800% of what it is really worth. Example, a Solid Gold Rolex Presidential has 94 grams of 18kt gold, which in to days spot price of gold is about $2100. worth of gold in it... Now how much does a Rolex Presidential sell for? $21000. at a 1000% mark up... 2 ladies rings would be estimated at 4-5 grams... which will make it 60 dollars worth of gold.. They offered 50? I would take it!!!
