Review content:
Came to get my brakes checked as thy had 36% wear. I would have fixed them as I have done for years, but had too much going on with Finals so I brought my car here. The owner tried to tell me that my 6 year old car was in need of over $800.00 worth of repair. After I caught their bluff they lowered it to $200 to fix all 4 brakes. It wasn't a good deal, but I needed the car done for my wife.
Came back 2 days later and it wasn't done. Then Finally the next day I went to pick it up and they told me that I owed $328. I showed them the paper they gave me telling me it would be $200. Then the manager came and told me that he only Quoted me for 1 side of the car! After a scuffle he lowered it a bit, but refused to take his first promise.
Dishonest people and they prey on students at UW. Be aware.
