Karma Salon is the best. After a terrible and costly experience at another salon, I tried Karma based on a recommendation from a friend. Christie is such a great stylist! She really listens to what you want, and is honest about how it will work with your hair texture, and how much effort you will need to put in to maintain it. She spent a lot of time asking questions about what sort of things I liked and wanted in a haircut before even getting started. Very impressive! I ended up spending a quarter of what I did at the other salon, and left looking and feeling a hundred times better. I always get a ton of compliments on my hairstyle after it is done, and Christie cuts hair in a way that it will grow in nicely, and you can change the part and it still looks good.
Also... When you are at Karma you are treated so well. At the Salon where I had a bad experience, I was barely given the time of day, probably because I wasn't carrying an Hermes handbag and talking about me recent trip to Europe. At Karma, you are welcomed warmly and offered something to drink, and the vibe in the room is so friendly. You can tell that the stylists all are friends with one another, and the way that they treat their clients is friendly and down to earth.
I can't say enough about this place! I'm so glad that I went. I will continue to go there as long as I am living in the area. I would probably even travel pretty far if I do ever move...
