Review content:
There was 12 of us in our party, valentines night (02-14-08), first time to the FLYING ROLL. We were not greeted, it took forever to get seated even though we made reservations. The rolls are good when they are hot, the okra is good when it is fresh\hot. The catfish was good, but my kids ordered chicken tenders. By midnight they were both throwing up. Then we requested more salad, the waiter said we may be out of salad. What this is supposed to be all you can eat salad and sides and you think you may be out of it. Then the meatloaf was burnt and tasted nasty so we sent both orders back. Then we get our tickets and we find a gratuity charge on all our tickets. We were never told they did that, believe me the food nor the service was worth it. Our waiter ended up with over $30.00 in tips off of gratuity. Good lord all you did was take our order, get our drinks and as us if we needed anything els. There were other people doing more than him. You got the guy throwing rolls, one handing out fried okra, one walking around with black eyed pees and one walking around with apple butter. Not all at the same time mind you. So my first and last visit to THE FLYING ROLL.
