When I tried this new place for my regular cleaning and check-up, they told me that I had 3 new cavities. I found that odd since I have only had one very small cavity before - ever. When I expressed my concern, I was made to feel like I didn't know my own body and that I needed these fillings right away. They sent me away with my "plan" for care - with several hundred dollars to be paid by me when the work was done since insurance only covers 80% of fillings. I couldn't shake the feeling that something just wasn't right. When I had been waiting in the lobby for my appointment, every person that came out (and there were a surprising large number for such a short period of time!) had to set up appointments for their "plan" for major work to be done. Lucky for me, a co-worker recommended that I get a second opinion from Dr. Larry Adatto. He found that I did not have ANY cavities! I have been going to him ever since and am thrilled with my experiences there (and how often can you say that about a dentist??).
