I have been to several of the salon on Newbury Street and none has offered the superior service that Toscana European Day Spa Offers. Lead stylist Stanley is a Newbury Street veteran and his style and technique (for both cut and color) are flawless - and without the attitude you might find at some other salons!
Although I did not receive any skin care or massage, I did get a chance to explore the facility, which is well designed and offers an old Italian elegant feel. The floor plan is well laid-out and the decor is well equipped without seeming overly modern.
Every staff member I encountered, whether it was to check in or ask for a restroom, was charming and friendly.
I have been a client of Stanley's for years and have suffered the attitudes at other salons so that I might walk away with one of his magic cuts, and I am delighted to report that he is finally at a salon that is engaging as he is. I look forward to exploring the other personal care services that Toscana has to offer and I would HIGHLY recommend Stanley to anyone who is looking for a superior cut or color.
