I saw Dr. Finesmith on the recommendation of my Family Doctor, who thought I should get a 'questionable' mole removed from my calf. I'd actually been concerned about it for some time, it had change shape, size, and color over the last few years. Dr. Finesmith didn't think there was any reason to be concerned. She didn't even think there was reason for biopsy. I insisted on a biopsy (at the very least), to put my mind at rest.
My biopsy resulted in an ABNORMAL mole.
Had I not said anything, I would still have an abnormal mole on my body.
Goes to show, always trust your gut.
