I RECENTLY ATE AT LOUIES AND WILL TELL YOU IT IS THE BEST.I HAD THE MAHI-MAHI MARDI GRAS AND WOW IT WAS GRILLED AND TOPPED WITH CRAWFISH,SHRIMP,MUSHROOMS,PICO-DE-GALLO IN A MONTERREY-JACK SHERRY CREAM SAUCE!!!! I COULDNT BELIEVE HOW GOOD IT WAS.OUR APPETIZER OF FONDOO WAS FILLED WITH OYSTERS,SHRIMP,CRAWFISH,MUSHROOMS,IN A CREAM SAUCE TOPPED WITH MONT-JACK CHEESE AND SERVED WITH GARLIC BREAD.MY HUSBAND HAD THECRAWFISH PLATTER WHICH IS HALF CRAWFISH ETOUFFE AND HALF FRIED CRAWFISH!!!!AWESOME WAS ALL HE COULD SAY. MY 18 YEAR OLD SON HAD THE FISHERMANS PLATTER THAT CONSISTED OF 2 CATFISH FILLETS 1 STUFFED CRAB SHRIMP OYSTERS AND CRAWFISH HE COULDNT FINISH IT!!! I WAS SHOCKED HE EATS ME OUT OF HOUSE AND HOME.FOR DESERT WE HAD THE KEY LIME PIE AND WHISKEY PECAN CHEESE CAKE OUT OF THIS WORLD,THE OWNER STOPPED BY AND EXPLAINED THE DESERTS WERE PREPARED BY A FRIEND WHO ATTENDED THE CULINARY INSTITUTE OF AMERICA IN NEWW YORK WITH HIM.I HAVE SEEN DOCUMENTERIES ABOUT THE CULINARY INSTITUTE AND IT ALL MADE SENSE.THE FOOD WAS OUTSTANDING AND THE PRICES WERE REASONABLE.EVERY-ONE WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND THE ATMOSPHERE MADE ME FEEL LIKE I WAS IN NEW ORLEANS, THANKS CHEF LOUIE, CHARLOTTE
