Baker Bros. Deli in the Montgomery Plaza Shopping Center may be up your alley. This place has been open for 4-5 months now and is always packed. Since my sweet husband came to meet me for lunch today, we went here. They serve all kinds of soups, sandwiches, salads and baked potatoes. My current fave is the Napa Valley Turkey, while my hubby had the Kentucky Club. Both sammies were hot and delicious and served with crispy veggies and a huge pickle on the side. We both had the Baked Potato Soup too, which is creamy and filled with big chunks of potato, carrot and celery, and topped with crispy bacon and cheese. They serve something called Paradise Tea there too, which has an islandy taste to it. Lunch was a little high at almost $16.00 for both of us, but this is fine for a once in a while thing.
