Review content:
Basic Health is a great, cheap insurance plan that you buy through the State of Washington. Anyone can apply for it, and they're a typical health insurance plan. It's run by the Washington State Health Care Authority. It's a cool deal, because you pay premiums based on your income. It is meant for people who can't get insurance through their workplaces, like me. It's a long wait list to get onto it if you don't have another "easy way in" like being a previously pregnant woman who had the free state health insurance (DSHS Healthy Options) for pregnant women. Here's the website...I'm pretty sure that no other state has anything quite like our health insurance here. Maybe Oregon, but I can't think of any other state that's as socialized as ours that would be so cool as to fund this program. http://www.basichealth.hca.wa.gov/
