Businiess name:  Saltgrass Steak House

Review content:
When I asked my Judy’s Book friends to give me recommendations on places to eat in or around Dallas – Saltgrass Steakhouse came up. I am so glad I listened! We went to the Irving location which was closest to our hotel – but I saw many other locations around the area in our travels. I had a steak and my husband had the Chicken Fried Steak and neither of us went away hungry! The meals included bread and salad in addition to the side items that come with the entrees. I ordered my steak well done and it was done perfectly – most places will still leave a little pink in them which I personally don’t like. This was probably the best (or second best at worst) steak I have ever had! I have never had butter served on my steak – I wasn’t sure about it at first – but that brought a lot of flavor to the meat! My least favorite part of the meal was the bread – but then again I am not a fan of sourdough breads. Their dessert tray looked delicious – but by the time we got done with our meals we had no room for anything else! I even enjoyed reading the restaurant’s story on their menu – it looks like a shortened version is on their website here: http://www.saltgrass.com/our_story/index.htm If you are ever in Texas, I recommend you check out one of the Saltgrass Steakhouses! My recommendation - come hungry!
