Businiess name:  Circus Amok
Review by:  Linda S.
Review content:
I just saw the most entertaining free show! It may not be for everyone, but I sure had a good time. I say that it may not be for everyone, first, because not everyone likes the circus, and second, because this is a gay circus. Some of the “ladies” in beaded gowns are men, and vice versa. But all the entertainers, both circus performers, and the band, are quite talented, which is what counts. But Circus Amok is not only a circus show. It is also a play in 10 acts about immigration. I imagine that is how they get some money to put on free shows in the parks around New York City. It is a small troupe and the show is in one ring. Spectators sit on a tarp right at ringside. It is not often you get an opportunity like that. I am just sorry that not more people know about it because it is worth seeing. I liked it so much that I donated my transportation money and had to walk home!
