I am absolutely terrified of dentists, so I put off regular treatment for years. When I was finally in such pain I couldn't stand it, I came across Dr. Handley's ad in a local magazine. He's such a cutie pie that I figured staring at him would take my mind off the pain I would surely endure.
Well, his cuteness doesn't hurt a bit, and neither did any of my treatment. The staff is so great, especially with my son. They are truly caring and nice. They were cool enough to bill my insurance and charge reasonable rates, so my percentage payments were affordable.
I had a little panic attack my first day there for a much-needed root canal (my first one ever), and he talked me through it and gave me all the time I needed to feel relaxed enough to go forward. I felt he was very competent and did excellent work. I didn't even feel the needle stick for the numbing!
I now see him regularly for cleaning and I've even had a few cavities filled since. I've never felt nervous after the first day, because I know he'll do a great job and he will make certain I'm never in pain, even for a moment. He took all the fear out of dentistry for me.
He has my highest recommendation. My entire family sees him now. Dr. Handley is awesome!
