My husband, bless his heart, turned me on to Hooters last year. Can you believe I have never had their wings?
It's become our Sunday tradition to go to the Hooters in South Arlington after church for some wings, fries and a couple of (FREE!) beers. We get the Hot and Three Mile Island Wings and an order of fries with jalapeno cheese sauce and enjoy ourselves while people watching and watching the bazillion games they have on the TVs all over the place.
The wings are best served hot and crispy, right out of the fryer and doused with the Hooters wing sauce. They are yummy and I can usually eat 7 or 8.
In South Arlington, the Hooters does not have a liquor license for some weird reason. However, I LIKE this, because they give away beer. Yes, you read that right. If you come in to this particular Hooters and eat, you can have up to three free beers with your meal.
They only have Bud, Bud Light, Michelob Ultra, Coors Light and Rolling Rock, but hey, free beer is free beer.
Best part about this, 20 wings, a bowl of fries and cheese sauce and six beers - Only $23 (including a pretty generous tip!)
Yes, the waitress do dress skimpy, and I'm sure a lot of people won't like it that I go there after church, but even I was amazed by the large number of families that come to Hooters!
I recommend Hooters for a Sunday afternoon game-watching fiesta or a Monday night game watching fiesta or just whenever you want a fiesta.
