Review content:
Within the past year a Trader Joe’s came to the Twin Cities Metro area outside of Minneapolis, MN. It wasn’t too close to where we live so it took me a while to get around to checking it out. Then one weekend I was in that area and decided to stop in.
I was actually surprised with how small it was – but then happy to see they had a wide selection of unique products at very reasonable prices. They had many soy, vegetarian, and other specialty products. I picked up some orange chicken, soy nuggets (like chicken nuggets), and some soy nut butter. The soy nut butter was about $2 less than Super Target.
They also had some free samples to try out and some great information at the front of the store (such as nutrition, benefits of soy, etc).
The one downfall (besides being too far from my house) was that it was pretty busy – and in such a small store that was a bit overwhelming.
