We entered the store to purchase a ton of materials for a remodel. (We used our old Home Depot in Wyoming, MI and LOVED it. When we moved here, this is the store we had to use to finish our remodel. We will NEVER return!) We could not get anyone to help us so I went to the what I think was the supervisor for the cashiers and tried to relay that I couldn't get help. She sent me to lumberyard desk where I encountered 3 people sitting and asked for help. They pointed to a teen standing nearby and him to help me. He was not from lumber and couldn't answer my questions. So I went to find someone who could and encountered another gentleman. He proceeded to swear and be rude. We needed a ton of trim cut (sold by the linear foot). He said, "You want me to cut all of this?" I replied, yes please. He then got in a huff and told me to get down everything I needed and bring it to him. We had a rough time getting these heavy, long boards out of the bins, but did and brought them to him. He started using a hack saw! We had over 40 boards that needed to be cut and he was using a hack saw! A young man approached him (as he heard him complaining) and said that he could just take the items out to the lumberyard and use the electric saw. The gentleman using the hack saw said "That would be nice!" and DROPPED all of the boards onto the floor and walked away! I went up front and asked to speak with the manager. They told me they would send her to the lumber area. I then waited in the lumber aisle for roughly 10 minutes and she didn't show. So I went back up front and said she didn't show and they said she went to the desk in that area already and "Where was I." I said in the lumber aisle where I told you I would be. And they stated that she had already went and I wasn't there and proceeded to walk away! I said, Would you please get her for me. They were miffed again. When she came I explained again what had happened throughout the course of my visit and she said "Huh." That was it. No apology or trying to fix it. I will never return to this store. I can't imagine how they can stay in business. We went to Carter Lumber and they were FABULOUS!!!
