As part of a tour, my family and I, stopped for two hours at this poorly maintained establishment for lunch. The cafeteria, served only frozen and canned food, with the possible exception of the peach shortcake. The pie had to be literally chopped to be eaten, and the silverware was dirty. Although we together sampled almost the whole buffet, we were finished exactly 27 minutes later. The slot machines, were rigged so that people don't win more than a few bucks, sliding from 40 grand, to 25c, after it stopped. Next, to rid ourselves of the smoky air, we checked out the arcade, which had no prize redemption, nor could it hold the interest of more than 15 people at a time. The air hockey table, had so many dents. It resembled a high-jacked jalopy. And one of the pin-ball machines' right flippers were jammed. To add, one of the shooting game guns was also. There's a spot in the gift shop were the shelf is worn away in many spots, by people bumping their heads, and for the most part the shop is over-priced. One of the trees, out front, is covered in littered cigarettes, and the cement patio, in an uncountable amount of gum. The only slight decency, was a small movie theater upstairs, althogh, the extras (toys/snacks), seemed stale and too expensive. This revolting hotel is the approxomite half-way-point between Hoover (Boulder) Dam & the main Vegas strip. There, in the middle of 'outer slabobia', tour buses stop in the neighboring bus yard, somewhere off to the side of the road. I can only imagine the state of the rooms, but as for the other facilities, I highly recommend you skip this hotel. P.S. This is written according to my experience in 6/06.
