I went to this store on Christmas Eve (my daughter and I have a tradition and always visit this store and purchase items from here on Christmas Eve. This year I purchased a number of things, one of them being a wooden easel for my 12 year old daughter. This was the final part of a gift which included an art box and a number of art accessories. At the store I was told that the display item was the last one available and that they would wrap it for me. On Christmas Day my daughter opened her final gift and was surprised when the box showed a plastic easel for 3+ years. I told her that it was probably just the box but that the wooden one was inside. How wrong was I!! it was the plastic one. I understand mistakes are made, but one should be careful when it comes to Christmas. I wrote a letter to the store (I myself work in retail) and gave it to my husband who took it with the item back to Jazams. I was in shock when I saw the wrong gift, but am now in even bigger shock at the lack of customer respect and service. According to my husband, the manager read my letter, said that they had never received one before, said they were "sorry" and gave us our money back. All I can say to Jazam is just because you have moved to a bigger store remember that you are never too big to provide customer service. Many a store and organization have failed when you begin to think you are invincible and can treat people however you please. I truly hope that they owner reads this review. Christmas is a very special day for me and my daughter. I love giving gifts and making peoples dreams come true, especially my daughter. This day cannot be recreated and I believe that "sorry" is not good enough. One thing that Jazam needs to remember is that your prices are by not means reasonable. I go to your store for customer service and atmosphere. If you do not provide customer service and take care of your customers, why should we go to your store.
