Businiess name:  Abuelo's Mexican Restaurant
Review by:  Susan L.
Review content:
We were introduced to Abuelos almost 7 years ago by one of my husband's friends. We had to make the drive all the way to Hurst, but once we did, we made it a monthly stop. Abuelo's has Mexican food that is extraordinary. They have the usual enchiladas and fajitas, but do yourself a favor and try something from the specialties menu. One of my all time favorites is the steak medallions and bacon-jalapeno shrimp. The potatoes with chiles are fabulous as is the creamed spinach - and I don't even LIKE spinach! Both the queso and salsa are excellent. They gotta do something with that queso! And the margaritas and swirls are fabulous and will knock you on your butt. The only disappointment I have is that they took the bread pudding of the menu. My husband and I have tried to find this particular capriodata and other Mexican places, but it is just not the same. Now Abuelo's are popping up all over the place. If you haven't tried this Mexican Embassy, I would encourage you to give it a whirl!
