Finding a good hair stylist is the hardest thing in the world! As soon as I'd find someone I liked they'd leave the salon, and I'd never be able to find them again.
Not this time. I've actually been going to the same lady for about 2 or 3 years now, and I love her! Her name is Jennifer Dearden, and she is in the salon on Camp Bowie in Fort Worth called Venus and Mars.
She knows exactly how my hair will look good. I can go in there with no clue as to how I want my hair done, and she will give me the perfect cut. There have also been times that I've explained to her what I want, and she understands it perfectly. With other hair dressers, I've tried explaining, and they totally don't get it. Jennifer gets it every time.
She's also great at highlights. The last time she highlighted my hair, she knew that I didn't want to have to get it done often, so she did it in such a way that they grew out naturally with no giant, dark roots showing. It was amazing. Also, two months after she did it, it looked like I had just gotten them done.
She is also really good at reading people and knowing what style or type of person they are and cutting their hair accordingly. She can do anything from really conservative to totally cool and funky.
Her rates aren't bad, either, considering how good she is. For a cut and style it's $50 for women. I don't remember how much the highlights were or how much is it for men.
Jennifer is also great and fun to talk to while you're getting your hair done. She's really nice and asks a lot of questions. She's very easy to talk to.
I highly recommend her!
