Alice Zotta is now in "assisted living" and the shop is being run by a relative. They appear to be shortstaffed. When I was recently told two months to repair a tiny hole in a cashmere sweater, the woman running the place started to shriek that she couldn't work any harder. Poor lady. Too bad; Zotta was always quirky but got the job done. Not worth leaving one's belongings to hope that they might return someday....
