I have lived in Katy for years, but have only ventured into Garden Ridge Pottery a few times. Some of their items seemed to be poor quality and I hadn't been impressed with the deals. This weekend we went in to buy a patio table set and I was pleasantly surprised. The patio sets were good quality and they had a lot of fun summer items out. I bought a set of 4 sturdy baskets with liners for my living room shelves for less than $20. I had just priced these at Target for $10-15 for each basket. I will definitely go back, especially to find inexpensive decorative items and party supplies. I also got some coloring books (with stickers inside) as party favors for my daughter's birthday for 0.50 each.
The cons of Garden Ridge - crowds on the weekend and picking through some of the cheaply made things to find the good stuff. But definitely worth a trip.
