Renters beware: The staff at Spyglass hill is extremely inconsistent and you will always get a different answer for any given question depending on who you talk to. With that said, if you rent here, GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING! Their staff doesn't seem know their own policies regarding pets, rates, rules, maintenance, etc. In our experience, it would take three or four calls to get a maintenance request in to someone smart enough to actually send it to maintenance. Only a few times did the maintenance people actually do what we needed them to do on the first try. Our apartment had roaches when we moved in (nobody warned us first) and it took them about four months to get rid of them, during that time we could not have anything in our kitchen cabinets (our kitchen was in our living room). No discounts were offered for the inconvenience. When we moved out, we were charged for a pre-existing stain on the carpet that we had reported shortly after moving in. When we tried to plea our case with the Manager, Jamie, she not only lied to us about investigating our claim, she flat out IGNORED us. Not returning our phone calls, refusing to talk to us when we call her, and making her subordinates talk to us instead. All in all, a very, very unprofessionally run office that resulted in the most frustrating rental experience I've ever had.
